Modern computing habits see each of us storing more and more data than ever before and, in turn, placing increasing reliance on (and faith in) the internal hard drive of our Mac. It's not a question of if your hard drive will fail as one day, it will fail. The question is when?
In this session we explore how to set up a foolproof backup regime, how to relocate libraries of data to external hard drives through migrating data to a new Mac. We look at Time Machine, how we can backup to multiple locations and tweak the backup intervals. We examine external storage options before examining data recovery options should the worst happen.
